Poetry Readings Empty Poetry Readings

Philip has given poetry readings in many places here are just a few: -

BBC Three Counties Radio: One of the most popular local radio stations with a huge catchment area. Philip was a periodic guest poet on the John Pilgrim "Out and About Show" until JP moved on. John used to introduce Philip as "Phil the Redbourn Poet"

The Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel, Cornwall: Invited to be Poet in Residence Philip was a guest reader at the invitation of owners John Mappin and Ted Stourton

BooksandCoffee, Dewey Beach, Delaware, USA: Two poetry readings at this wonderful venue, popular with poets, storytellers and radio productions. On the second occasion Philip was interviewed by:

Dan Gaffney of WGMD Radio: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, USA. This is a commercial radio station so it's an unusual experience cutting out to advertisements throughout the interview.

Philip also donates a lot of his time to Charity organisations including free readings to Children's Groups and the Elderly as well as promoting poetry to young writers through his web sites

Thank you Maria,
I love reading poetry and to date I have always had a wonderful response. I didn't make any money out of these readings although the Camelot Castle Hotel did put up my wife and I free with all meals for several days in return for reading poetry after dinner in the evenings. We were free during the day to tour the area and since I get so much pleasure from reading, it seemed a great deal! The hotel was busy and I had a good audience even though it was optional for them.
