Not me! (Poems and Scribbles) Empty Not me! (Poems and Scribbles)

From my Children's Collection "Poems and Scribbles"

Who left the tap on
The water running free
Who flooded the kitchen?
Not me!

Who spread the peanut butter
Where it should not be
Mixed with pickled onions?
Not me!

Who scared the cat
And made the poor thing flee
Up upon the highest tree?
Not me!

Who hid sisters doll
Ignoring her doleful plea
And flushed it down the toilet?
Not me!

Who got the best reward
For behaviour good to see?
I really should have got it, but,
Not me!

Not me... Smile

Sometimes we just write about great thoughts and feelings. This one is just a simple and sometimes annoying day to day hapennings : ). That's life...

Sofia

I do enjoy writing about kids, and yes my own had their moments!

I am proud of them though and they have all grown up well and I do now have a Grandson to repeat some of the experiences with.

I lost all six of my kids due to high blood pressure that caused my stroke, so reading about kids is really a pleasure, especially if it is written by you.
Hugs,

I do so feel for you Lanaia, I am sure you would have been a great Mom. I have friends near us who couldn't have kids but went on to be foster parents. They are retired now and fostered a great number of children all of whom are now grown up, but they all keep in touch. He told me just this morning that three of them were visiting for Christmas. Kids do touch our lives in so many ways, they can give you heartache and joy at the most unexpected times.
Bless you for your kindness
Philip
